New plant insights are essential in a project set up by Cut Cymbidium growers from the crop cooperative Cut Cymbidium with the Control in Food & Flowers foundation. These include photosynthesis and potential growth rate (ETR). These are now routinely monitored with innovative sensors. It becomes extra interesting when you assess these data in combination with climate parameters. The wish of the project group was therefore to make the new plant insights visible in the climate computer.
Recently, Priva made these additional parameters visible in the climate computer at a number of project participants. This is currently providing relevant insights of what their plant is actually doing. Based on these experiences, new cultivation settings can potentially be developed.
